Baked Some Meat Pies... Yum!!! Yum!!



Woke up this morning feeling refreshed, I got into the kitchen kneading dough which is the hard part, put in some fillings then straight into the oven few mins later viola. This wot came out.....Yum meat pie ti u go yo...remix of d' prince sturvinz...hehehe...
I don't really use measurement to be honest just use my eyes to gauge it. For those that have been disturbing me for the recipe its below

Recipes:

For the dough

  • Plain Flour – 1 Kg
  • Baking Powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Margarine – 500g
  • Salt – 2 pinches
  • Cold Water - ½ cup / 125 ml / 4.2 oz

For the meat pie filling

  • 2 medium-sized Irish potatoes
  • 2 medium-sized carrots
  • 500g of minced meat
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 2 cooking spoons of Vegetable Oil
  • Seasoning - 2 Maggi / Knorr cubes and 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 2 tablespoons of plain flour
  • Cold water – 1 cup / 250 ml / 8.4 oz
  • Salt to taste
To Make the meat pie look glossy 
  • 1 egg depending on the quantity.
